Lubricants and Metal Working
PTFE powders and nanopowders are highly effective solid boundary lubricants that reduce friction and wear while increasing lubricant carrying load under all types of pressures and temperatures. Other types of lubricating waxes and wax emulsions can improve wear and corrosion resistance in oil and aerosol lubricants. Wax powders and dispersions can also lubricate metalworking and wire drawing processes.
